In this respect it differs from training. Facilitation is centred on the needs of the audience, training on the needs of the trainer/organisation.

Here are some of the areas of work in which Barbara has successfully facilitated groups of people and teams through a variety of processes towards their goals

Facilitation for Teambuilding and development

  • Using outdoor exercises and creative techniques
  • Working with teams to resolve issues and find a way forward
  • Creating team vision and strategy

Workshop facilitation of Personal Development, Leadership and management skills:

Leaders of the 21st Century need to be more creative, sensitive, more intuitive. Assumptions need challenging, mind sets breaking down. Emotional and spiritual intelligence are as important if not more so than mental intelligence

Workshop facilitation of Creative problem solving

Using a creative problem solving process to work through problems, opportunities and challenges in order to think differently and develop new approaches
